EU Tube: Great source of European Union Information
There is a great source of European Union news and views over at YouTube – the EU has its own dedicated page featuring videos from a wide variety of different subjects:the cunningly named EU Tube. There are videos on EU culture, travelling, education and youth issues. It seems that this move has been incredibly popular with EU internet users as the site has had almost 2.4 million channel views. (The view from the US is not as complimentary however.)
Our favourite videos are in the ‘understanding the European Union’ section, including this one on how the EU has attempted to protect the environment over the last 50 years. There’s a wealth of material over on the channel page itself.
The European Parliament itself also has a deicated YouTube page, wich is updated regularly – including the latest data on last weeks elections.
